In the event that smoking is detected in the room, a $400 plus tax PER INCIDENT smoking fee will be applied.

If your booking is prepaid, nonrefundable – the full stay will still be charged. All other reservations will be charged full amount including taxes and fees. Certain exceptions may apply.

Early check-in is based on availability and cannot be guaranteed. Patterns for our departing guests vary daily. With this in mind, in the event your room type is available and fully serviced by our housekeeping department, the hotel will provide an early check-in when possible.

Late check-out is based on availability, please reach out to our front desk and they will let you know if it is possible. Unrequested late check-out will be subject to an additional 50% of room rate prior to 3PM. Departures after 3:00 PM EST will be subject to an additional full night’s stay.

Yes. Guests of OYO Hotel Times Square enjoy access to a fitness center located off-site at the Millennium Broadway Hotel, approximately a 6-minute walk from the property at 145 West 44th Street. The gym is located on the 16th floor and is open 24/7.

To use the facility, please request a pass from the OYO Hotel Times Square front desk before heading over. Upon arrival at the Millennium Broadway, present both your pass and OYO Hotel Times Square room key card at their front desk for access to the fitness center.

The fitness center is equipped with cardio and weight machines; however, no training sessions or activity programs are available. Please note that  the pass obtained from the OYO Hotel Times Square must be returned to the hotel again at the front desk —failure to do so will result in a $25 charge to your room bill.

The hotel features Serendipity 3, located on the 1st floor and open daily from 8:00 am to 11:00 pm. Reservations are not required but are recommended, especially on weekends, and can be made by clicking here. There is no dress code, and menus are not available in rooms. Room service is not offered.

Yes, we do have a luggage holding area. As per our policy, guests are allowed to store luggage during the dates of their stay only. The hotel cannot hold onto luggage prior to arrival or post departure date at 10:00 PM. In addition, the hotel does NOT offer overnight storage.

OYO Times Square will accept packages for all arriving and in house guests. Packages should not be sent to the hotel until 7 days prior to the guest arrival. All packages that arrive prior to 7 days of arrival will be returned to sender. Packages received can be sent to the guest’s room upon arrival, the following day, or held at the front desk. Packages without a matching name to the reservation will be held for 7 days before being sent back to sender.

OYO Times Square will not store packages throughout the guest stay in the package room. All packages should be addressed to the name of the guest(s) registered on the reservation, followed by the complete address of the hotel. Please make sure you have the tracking number of your package in order to collect your package. If checking out, collect your package well in advance. For cancellations and package forwarding, additional charges may apply. Please note we do not hold regular mail.

We are also within walking distance to Port Authority or Penn Station if you need to catch a train to Long Island, New Jersey, Boston, Washington, DC, or any Amtrak destination. The Empire State Building, Macy’s Department Store, and Jacob K Javits Convention Center is a short cab ride away.

From any of New York City’s airports—JFK, LaGuardia, or Newark—guests have several convenient options to reach Times Square. Options include ride-share services (Uber, Lyft, etc)  and yellow taxi. Depending upon traffic, the commute time is approximately 45–60 minutes from JFK or Newark, and 30–40 minutes from LaGuardia. For a more budget-friendly option, guests can take public transit, such as the AirTrain and subway from JFK, or express buses from LaGuardia and Newark, which connect to Midtown Manhattan. Details of this can be obtained at the airport.

OYO Hotel Times Square is located about 0.9 miles (roughly a 20-minute walk) from Penn Station. Guests can easily walk, take a short taxi or rideshare (5–10 minutes depending on traffic), or use the subway—the 1, 2, or 3 train from Penn Station to Times Square–42 St leaves you just steps from the hotel.

OYO Hotel Times Square is located about 0.8 miles from Grand Central Terminal. Walk is approximately 20 minutes. Taxi is approximately 20 minutes depending on traffic. Subway – the S (Shuttle) train runs directly from Grand Central to Times Sq–42 St followed by a short walk to the hotel which in totality is approximately 15 minutes.

The OYO Hotel Times Square is approximately 0.7 miles from the Port Authority Bus Terminal. Walk is approximately 15 minutes. Taxi is approximately 10-20 minutes depending on traffic.

The closest subway stations are 49th Street (N, R, W lines), 47-50 Sts-Rockefeller Ctr (B, D, F, M lines) and Times Square–42nd Street (1, 2, 3, 7, A, C, E lines). All are within a 5-minute walk from the hotel. A standard subway fare in New York City is $2.90 per ride (subject to change).
